For over 40 years I have designed and painted ceramics.  I have been a china painting teacher since 1994.  Porcelain clay is my favorite and main focus.  Beginning with clay, I am able to participate in the total creation of an original piece.  Whether I am designing jewelry or tile murals or dust-catching decorative pieces or crosses, my porcelain “canvases” are decorated with over-glaze oil colors and gold in designs that reflect the beauty of God’s amazing creation.  Each piece is kiln-fired a minimum of three to ten times at temperatures ranging between 1400 and 2300 degrees.
